SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a trough with cold front is approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the North Adriatic SW winds, 8-16, in the open of the South, around midday of a part of the Central Adriatic as well, 14-22 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Air temperatures a little lower.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light SE winds, in the second part of the night becoming almost calm. Elsewhere moderate, in the open of the South Adriatic toward the Strait of Otranto up to fresh SE winds and sea moderate, elsewhere smooth or slight.
