SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

N and NW, along the coast mainly NE winds, 10-20, in the Central Adriatic up to 26, and in the South up to 30, diminishing to 4-14, in the Central to 18, and in the South Adriatic to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4, and in the South Adriatic possibly up to 5 at first. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but along the coast still variably cloudy at first.

Mostly clear. NW, along the coast mainly NE winds, diminishing and dying away, only in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic still up to moderate. Sea calming to smooth, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic slight, and in the extreme south of the Adriatic moderate.
