A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE, in the open N winds, 15-30, in places of the Central Adriatic at first up to 35, in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots. Sea 3-4, locally 4-5, mainly in the open. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, or fine and fair in places. In the South Adriatic still variable amounts of cloud and a little rain in places.

Mostly clear, but in the South Adriatic, in the morning elsewhere as well, variably cloudy with a little rain in places. Moderate to near gale force, during the forenoon up to gale force NE, in the open sea N winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the open possibly up to rough. A little colder.
