GUSTS OF NE, IN THE OPEN IN THE AFTERNOON OF N WINDS, 35-60, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC STILL UP TO 80 KNOTS AT FIRST. SEA LOCALLY UP TO 5, MAINLY IN THE OPEN. STILL A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC AT FIRST.

SYNOPSIS

A shallow low over the South Adriatic is filling up and shifting further eastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE, in the open in the afternoon N winds, 15-30, in places of the Central Adriatic at first up to 35, in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots. Sea 3-4, locally 4-5, mainly in the open. Visibility 20 km. In the North, during the day in the Central Adriatic as well, partial clearing. In the South Adriatic still variable amounts of cloud and a little rain in the morning, in the extreme south with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
