SYNOPSIS

A trough is shifting from the Adriatic southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure will intensify a little from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, in places along the coast NE winds, 12-24, in places up to 28, turning all along the Adriatic late in the day to NE winds 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4. Visibility 10-30 km. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places, but gradual clearing is expected in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon and in the evening. Air temperatures a little lower.

Gradual clearing in the rest of the Adriatic as well. Moderate to strong NE winds, dying away during the night and sea calming to smooth.
