SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and E winds 5-15, giving way during the forenoon to SE 5-15, and strengthening in the afternoon to 10-20, in the Bay of Kvarnerić and in the Central, in the evening in the South Adriatic as well, up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, late in the day 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fair with some more cloud and a little rain in the North Adriatic.

Moderate to strong SE, turning in the North Adriatic to moderate NE and NW, locally in the open NW winds up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the open up to moderate. Fair or mainly cloudy with a little rain in places, mainly in the North Adriatic.
