SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a shallow trough is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic SE and SW winds 6-16 knots. In the Central and South Adriatic NW winds 6-16, only in places up to 20, diminishing a little during the night and turning to SE 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but moderate cloud increase is expected toward the end of the day, firstly in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy with a little risk of light scattered rain in the wider area of Rijeka in the morning. In the North Adriatic light to moderate, south of Istria up to fresh SE and SW winds. Elsewhere light to moderate SE winds, strengthening in the morning to moderate and fresh. Sea slight, in the open during the forenoon possibly up to moderate. Night and morning air temperatures will warm up a little, daily ones with no significant change or dropping a little.
