IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL GUSTS OF NE WIND 35-45 KNOTS, DIMINISHING IN THE EVENING. SEA LOCALLY 5, IN THE OPEN OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON POSSIBLY ALSO 6.
SYNOPSIS
A deep low from the Central Mediterranean is spreading its trough towards the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE wind intensifying to 18-36, in the afternoon in the open up to 44 knots while in the North Adriatic NE and E winds 12-24 knots. Sea 3-4, in the afternoon 4-5, in the open 5-6. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloudy, at times with rain, there is also a risk of showers with thunder, particularly in the second part of the day in the Central and South Adriatic. No change in air temperatures.
