A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north, while a shallow low over the Ionian Sea is gradually shifting eastwards.

NE, toward the open sea of N winds as well, 12-22, in places up to 28, in the Velebit Channel today still up to 36, diminishing west of Istria to 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear with some cloud in places, in the South Adriatic today still variably cloudy with a little rain in places.
