SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest, while a low over the Ionian Sea is gradually filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 14-28, diminishing in a part of the South and Central Adriatic during the night to 8-18 knots. Sea 3-4, in a part of the South and Central Adriatic during the night 2-3. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear, or fine and fair.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear. In the North and in the extreme south of the Adriatic moderate to strong NE winds. Elsewhere in the morning light to moderate NE, turning around midday to NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the North and in the extreme south of the Adriatic slight and moderate. Air temperatures a little higher in the North, with no significant change in the rest of the Adriatic.
