SYNOPSIS

A low over the Tyrrhenian Sea and the South Adriatic gradually filling up and shifting eastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 20-35, in places 35-50 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open 5-6. Visibility 15-25 km. Variably cloudy, still with a risk of light scattered rain in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic this morning, but clearing is expected later on. Air temperatures warming up a little.

Mostly clear, only in the South Adriatic still variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain. Strong and near gale, in places up to gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the open rough and very rough.
