IN THE NORTH, DURING THE NIGHT IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AS WELL, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-90 KNOTS. IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-50 KNOTS. SEA IN THE OPEN DURING THE NIGHT 5-6. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A low over the western Mediterranean is deepening and it is extending a trough toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and E winds 5-15, in the open sea up to 20, gradually strengthening in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 15-30 knots. In the North, during the night in a part of the Central Adriatic, wind is expected to turn to NE and to strengthen to 15-30, in places during the night up to 45 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4, in the open during the night 5-6. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with rain in places, particularly during the night, when isolated rain showers and thunder are expected, in places along the coast of the North Adriatic snow as well. Significantly colder with NE winds.

Strong and gale force NE, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic still up to strong SE winds. Sea moderate and rough, in the open up to very rough. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places, along the coast of the North Adriatic with a risk of snow.
