A trough with frontal system is approaching the Adriatic from West.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 5-15, strengthening in the second part of the day to 10-20 knots. In the North Adriatic SE and SW winds 10-20, strengthening around midday in places up to 25 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic 2-3, increasing to 2-3, in the North Adriatic to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fair or mainly cloudy with rain in places of the North, toward the end of the day of the rest of the Adriatic, when isolated rain showers and thunder are possible in the North Adriatic.

Moderate to fresh SE and SW, turning in the North Adriatic to NW, in places along the coast to NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the North and South Adriatic up to moderate. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder in places.
