SYNOPSIS

A low from the Tyrrhenian Sea is extending a trough with frontal system across the Adriatic.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 8-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 22 knots, diminishing. Elsewhere SE winds 8-16, in places up to 22 knots. Sea 3-4, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic calming to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, brief isolated rain showers and thunder. Air temperatures warming up a little.

Variably cloudy with scattered rain. Along the coast of the North Adriatic light NE, in the open sea light NW winds. Elsewhere light to moderate, in the open sea of the South Adriatic, toward the Strait of Otranto, up to fresh SE winds and sea moderate, elsewhere smooth or slight.
