A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 8-16, in the afternoon to 15-25 knots. Sea 2-3, in the afternoon 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual cloud increase with light scattered rain in the North Adriatic. Air temperatures a little higher.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and near gale force, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to gale force SE winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the open sea up to rough. Heavier cloud increase with rain.
