SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the North toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 14-26, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 36 knots, diminishing in the second part of the day. Sea 3-4, calming late in the day to 2-3, except in the extreme south of the Adriatic. Visibility 20-30 km. Clear skies. Air temperatures a little lower.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear. Moderate to strong NE winds diminishing, but in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still up to near gale force. Sea calming to smooth and slight, toward the Strait of Otranto still up to moderate in the first part of the night.
