SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the European land lies over the Adriatic and a low pressure system over the Central Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and E winds 6-16, in the open sea up to 24 knots. In the North Adriatic NE and E winds 8-18, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear. Toward the open sea variably cloudy with a risk of rain, showers and thunder in places.
