SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal system is approaching slowly from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in places along the coast NE and E winds, 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing in the open to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with light scattered rain, mainly in the open sea. Spells of sunshine are possible along the coast.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy with light scattered rain, mainly toward the open sea. Moderate to fresh SE, in places along the coast NE and E winds. In the open sea in the second part of the night moderate to strong SE, in the North Adriatic E, and in the Velebit Channel NE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
