SYNOPSIS
A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northeast, while a trough with frontal system is approaching slowly from the northwest.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE, in places along the coast E and NE winds, 4-10, strengthening in the North, then in the Central Adriatic as well, to 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North and Central Adriatic increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic fair or mainly cloudy, elsewhere fine or fair. Light scattered rain in the North Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Gradual heavier cloud increase. In the North, tomorrow in the rest of the Adriatic as well, light scattered rain. Light to moderate SE, in places along the coast E and NE winds, strengthening in the North and Central Adriatic up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight.
