A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northeast.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NE winds 4-12, only in places up to 16 knots, mainly in the extreme south of the Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel, diminishing. Sea 1-2, locally at first up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic during the night a very little risk of fog, reducing visibility to less than 1 km. Mostly clear.

Fair in the North, but mostly clear in the rest of the Adriatic. In the North Adriatic during the night a very little risk of fog, mainly in the open sea. Calm or light variable winds, along the coast during the night and in the morning up to moderate NE. Sea smooth, locally in the morning possibly up to slight.
