IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC STILL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS THIS MORNING. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC A RISK OF FOG DURING THE NIGHT, MAINLY IN THE OPEN.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the northeast is keeping a clear and settled weather over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 22 knots, diminishing and dying away during the forenoon. Sea 2-3, calming to 1-2. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear. A risk of mist, in the North Adriatic of fog as well. Calm or light NE winds. Sea calm or smooth.
