SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 12-24, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 40 knots, diminishing a little during the night and turning in the open sea and in the northern part of the Adriatic to NW winds. Sea 3-4, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic 5-6. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear. In the North Adriatic light to moderate NW and NE, in the southern part of the Velebit Channel NE winds possibly up to strong. Elsewhere moderate to near gale force NE, in the open sea NW winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic still up to rough.
