SYNOPSIS

A shallow low is shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 8-18, only in places up to 26, mainly in the open sea, diminishing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 4-14 knots. In places along the coast at first still NE winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Gradual clearing is expected in the North Adriatic in the morning and in the Central later on.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Gradual clearing all over the Adriatic, but in the southern part still some rain at first. Light to moderate, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to strong NW winds, turning to SW. Sea smooth or slight, in the south of the Adriatic up to moderate at first.
