A deep low over the central Mediterranean and the Adriatic is keeping an unsettled weather.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW, in places along the coast NE winds, 5-15, in the open sea up to 20, strengthening in the afternoon up to 25 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly SW and NW winds 12-24, in the open sea up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4, in the extreme south of the Adriatic possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain in places and with a chance of isolated rain showers and thunder, along the coast of the North Adriatic of snow.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate NE and NW, locally in the open at first still up to strong NW winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong SW and NW winds, diminishing through the night. Sea slight and moderate, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to rough, calming through the night. Mainly cloudy with rain in places and with a chance of isolated rain showers and thunder, along the coast of the North Adriatic of snow.
