A trough with frontal disturbance has approached the Adriatic from the Northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 14-32, diminishing in the North and Central Adriatic to 12-26 and turning in the extreme north to SW 10-20 knots. Sea 3-4, toward the open up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain in places, particularly late in the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. In the North and in a part of the central Adriatic light to fresh SW, turning to NW winds and diminishing. Elsewhere moderate to near gale force SE winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the South Adriatic possibly up to rough.
