SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening slowly, while a low over the Western Mediterranean is expected to deepen.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 6-14, strengthening around midday to 8-18,in places of the North and Central Adriatic till the end of the day up to 24 knots. Sea 1-2, in the afternoon 2-3, late in the day 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist around 4 km. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected late in the day. In the northern part of the Adriatic variably cloudy with a little rain in places, particularly late in the day. Air temperatures a little higher.

Fair or mainly cloudy with light scattered rain, mainly in the North Adriatic. SE winds moderate to strong, in the North and Central Adriatic up to near gale force. Sea slight and moderate, in the open of the North and Central Adriatic before the morning possibly up to rough.
