SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a deep trough with cold front is approaching from the Northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or SE and SW winds 4-12 knots. During the night SE winds strengthening to 10-20 knots. Sea 1-2, during the night 2-3. West of Istria variable winds 5-10 knots and sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, only in places around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with sunny spells, but also with risk of rain in places, mainly in the North Adriatic.

Moderate to fresh SE winds and sea slight, increasing in the open later on up to moderate. West of Istria light variable winds and sea smooth. Variably and mainly cloudy with a little rain in places, mainly in the North Adriatic.
