SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the Northwest toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 16-32, further diminishing to 8-18 knots, except in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic. Till the end of the day west of Istria and during the night in the open of the Central Adriatic, wind will turn to NW 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4, calming to 2-3. Visibility 10-30 km. Mostly clear, in the Bay of Kvarner and in northern Dalmatia fair.

Mostly clear. Light to moderate, in places during the night up to strong NE, in the open sea up to moderate NW winds. Sea smooth or slight. Night and morning air temperatures slightly higher, daily ones tomorrow significantly higher.
